The upcoming WhatsApp Update introduces exciting features, with a highlight on the revamped WhatsApp color theme. These changes and updates have been noticed in the latest WhatsApp beta versions, as shared by the WABetaInfo team.
WhatsApp beta for iOS version 24.1.10.72 introduces two new standout features, one of which is a sticker editor for the talking app. This sticker editor allows users to create new stickers, alter old ones, and save them to a favorite collection. It will also be able to modify stickers posted in conversation.
The screenshot below describes what it looks like.
This feature eliminates the need for third-party sticker-making apps by allowing users to create stickers directly within the app. WhatsApp already launched a capability to turn photographs into stickers last year, but this is the first time the messaging app has included the option to modify stickers within the app. The ability to transform photographs in a conversation into stickers was previously unavailable.
WhatsApp Color Theme Feature
WhatsApp allows you to modify the chat backdrops and general look of the app between dark and light modes, and that’s about it. However, the app will soon allow you to choose between multiple themes for its accent colors. This will modify the app’s main branding color.
As shown in the screenshot, the selectable hues will be green, blue, white, pink, and lavender. Switching to pink, for example, changes the color of notifications and other accents to pink, as shown in the screenshot.
These features are currently only accessible in WhatsApp’s beta version, so it is unknown when they will be distributed to the public. They have also yet to be discovered on the Android beta version of WhatsApp.
