There was a time when game demos were standard. Developers provided a portion of their game for free, and if you enjoyed it, you paid for the rest. In fact, the original Prince of Persia was available in a “shareware” version that let players to play the first two levels before paying for the rest 11 if they chose to continue.

When the Full Version will be Available
The full version of Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown will be available on January 18, but reviews are already out, and they are extremely positive.
While it starts far too slowly, “its second half does a fantastic job of leaning into its strengths,” with the net result being “a solid attempt at a Metroidvania.”
How to Download Prince of Persia The Lost Crown Demo
To download the demo, sign up at this link on Ubisoft’s website. If you already have a Ubisoft account, just log in and download the demo.
The demo is also available for PC through the Epic Games Store. It is also available for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and the Nintendo Switch.
It comprises select areas of the game with early unlocks of time powers and amulets, highlighting the main gameplay mechanics without giving away too much of the story.
What's the size of the demo
The Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown demo is an 11GB download, which is about 41,200 times the size of the shareware demo of the original Prince of Persia.
Note: The demo is a stand-alone experience with no progression carried over to the full game.
