The magic happens when you press the button – it generates eight distinct images inspired by intriguing themes like “time travel” or “alternate universes.” And hold tight for more excitement, as Snap has plans to let users bring their friends’ faces into these imaginative image sets in the future. Your selfies are about to enter a realm of creativity!
Snapchat's Dreams Feature: Access and Pricing
Snapchat has introduced something cool called “Dreams.” It’s like a creative feature that makes unique pictures from your selfies using AI. Right now, it’s starting in Australia and New Zealand, and soon it will be everywhere. The first pack of Dreams with eight special selfies is free. But if you want more, you might need to pay $1 for each extra pack.
If you’re a Snapchat+ subscriber, you’ll get a free pack every month. If you’re not, you’ll only get one free pack. After that, you might have to join Snapchat+ or buy more packs to get more AI-made selfies.
Making a Dream takes about half an hour, according to The Verge. Some pictures made by this AI might not be perfect, though. Snapchat is also trying out something called Sponsored Dreams.
When you want to make a Dream, you have to agree to Snapchat’s rules. This means they can use the pictures they make from your selfies.
This Dreams thing is different from the MyAI chatbot that Snapchat made before. Dreams doesn’t use the same smart talking as the chatbot. It’s more about making pictures look cool using Snapchat’s special tools.
Snapchat also added one more thing. Now, the MyAI chatbot can send pictures made by AI when you send it a message. Cool, right?
